Zenbooth
Privacy Pod / Office Product
Zenbooth is a Berkeley-based company designing privacy booths for offices. As industrial designer, the work spanned refining the flagship Comfort Booth, researching user needs, and executing from concept to factory implementation.
The Modular Booth System
Rigorous materials research discovered that composite fiber boards greatly reduced sound wave transmission due to inherent randomized internal composition. Smaller, more cost-effective panels were easier for users to handle and assemble.

Sketching Culture
‘The World Is Our Sketch Pad’: ideas were captured on every surface. Constantly sketching through thoughts and emphatically encouraging the team to join the process.
Full Scale Prototype
After refining models, the team compiled CAD toolpathing for CNC. The first full-scale prototype was built from raw fiber board to test structural integrity with a 60-pound door. Results exceeded expectations.
